Once you have received an email stating that you have been asked to be an author on the EMAP blog, you will need to follow the link in the email to create a username and password. Please pick something that you can remember and that is appropriate, as I will not have a way of actually entering your individual account.
After you are connected to the blog, click ‘My Dashboard’ and you will see a webpage with a lot of information–including a section called ‘QuickPress’. In the QuickPress section you can type in the Content section, or click one of the icons to add (from left to right): an image, a video, audio, media, or a poll.
Please tag your entry with your name and any important information (ie. photo, idea, poem).
Let me know in the comment section if this is helpful. See you on Friday!

This EMAP blog is sweet. I can’t wait to post on it. I’m so glad we have Sarah to organize tech things like this.

Hi, everyone. You must actually create an account on WordPress.com, but I believe you must use the e-mail address the author invitation was sent to. I already have a WordPress.com account so all I had to do was log in and I see the blog listed under my account.

Thanks Matt for explaining it to everyone.
